| Shall blog abt Floorball Comp. We got Last. However, I feel we've
gained a lot of exposure and experience now. A lot and I'm sure we will
do better in the december Tournament. This tournament is very good I
feel as it truly helps us to identify the areas our team as a whole and
as individuals need to work on.
Generally, in this order, I think we need to work on
1) Passing and controlling passes
2) Forwards latching onto goalie's good throwouts
3) Speed
Anyway, I think among MJCians, the best players in the tournament were
Iskandar the GK and Captain and Zhi Rong ,who plays at defence. Think
Daryl deserves special mention too, converting unexpectedly smoothly to
become a defender, yet retaining his attacking instincts to get MJC a
goal against YJC.

DAY 1
Match #1 VS RJC ( eventual runners-up)
RJC 4- 2 MJC
Think RJC is generally very fast. Anyawy, Qing Long and Fharhan were the goalscorers. Will elaborate on them later.
Anyway, the first match produced a lot of events. Meaningful. I rmb
when my line ( a team of 4 ppl comprising 2 def 2 forwards) of Daryl
Zhi Rong Me QL got subbed into the match we had just earned a free-hit
from some distance. I stped up to take it and I saw the ball beside the
1st referee(there are 2 of em in a match) so I assumed I should take
the free-hit there. Seeing that the opposition wall still had not been
set-up, I tried to do an Henry and asked the ref if I could take a
quick shot. He said "yes" so I aimed and just shot and it went in!
BUT BUT BUT the other referee blowed the whistle and disallowed the
goal! DANG! He said took from incorrect spot, which should have been
taken directly in the centre circle as the foul happened there. This
time was too far and wall had been set-up so I asked Zhi Rong to take
to pass the ball. A few moments later I almost got a goal when Qing
Long went to disturb the opponent Kan Chiong spider RJ defender LOL
then cause him to concede a loose ball. I saw the opportunity for a
volley from some distance so I just volleyed the ball but at the last
moment the ball swerved outta the goalpost. I could hear the "OoooH"
sound of a goal almost being scored. Dang.
Funny thing happened next. LOL. Daryl, the not-so-agressive Daryl,
albeit accidentally, BUMPED AN RJ PLAYER OUT OF THE BOARDS! ROFL!
HAHAHA! Daryl certainly didn't mean it though and I think the
momentum of the RJ fella made him go over the boards too. Daryl got
one-minute penalty for it. Speaking of which, he must be thankful we
defended like hell and didnt concede. Later, my defensive skills again
looked suspect a my defensive error almost led to an RJ goal. I marked
the wrong fella during a RJ free-hit from a very dangerous area. It was
too late when I realised I marked wrong fella and was thinking, OH
SHIT. I sprinted right to the other side of the court to get the fella
I was supposed to mark. The free-hit taker true enuff, really passed to
him. Thankfully, he fumbled while trying to control the ball for a
shot. That LITTLE fumble bought me the SPLIT second to dispossess him.
IF not I definitely would have blamed myself if that had gone in. Close
shave.
Anyway, Qing Long scored ALL OF A SUDDEN. Our team has this policy of
retreating back into our area once we have lost possession while
attacking. When Qing Long lost the ball at the left side, the 2
defenders and I immediately ran back to our defensive positions. Just
when I turned around, I saw QL actually rob and RJ defender and ran one
round around him before finishing nicely with a drag shot. Good goal!
Later, our line was subbed out and in came Fharhan's( a funny malay
forward quite fast + known for funyn tricks) line. At that point was
3-1. Then very funny man. Our teacher, who was facing the bench, not
the match, was commenting that "This Fharhan ar, run anyhow , anywhere
one." Then.....suddenly, FHARHAN RAN FROM HIS ANYHOW POSIOTION TO THE
CENTRE TO RECEIVE A CROSS AND SCORE! Just as she was saying that
Fharhan runs haphazardly!
It was 3-2. Everyone was very excited. But all came to an end. When
they scored the heart-breaker in last period to secure the win.
Anyway, there was this misunderstanding that occured. Sian. I think the
coach misunderstood me for QL. Moreover, we use the same stick.
OK...she subbed my line out and started scolding me for taking a
free-hit when the opposition wall was alrdy set up, saying I should
have passed to a better-placed defender to take a shot. I was just
being a "yes"-man and saying "ok ya ok.." . Should have told her it
wasnt me. Quite sure it was QL. Coz right...during our time in the
match, my line took 3 free-hits. The first, I took. But the wall wasnt
set yet and Im sure she wouldnt be complaining abt the disallowed goal
right, but abt the positioning of the ball? Then, 2nd free-hit I took.
BUT I passed to Daryl who took a shot. So can't be me. 3rd free-hit QL
took. He hit a low shot straight into the wall I remember, so should be
him lah. Got scolded for nth. Stupid me never defend myself. I think
this misunderstanding may have gotten more serious later but I dunno
how to say in words. But of coz not in the form of coach-player
arguments lah.

Match #2 VS MI ( eventual 2nd runners-up...everyone tot they would win)
MI 7-0 MJC
The councillors and other fans like Timo who came to support were disappointed obviosuly with the result.
Total thrashing. We were turbanated by the Turbanator Captain from MI,
who scored 4 times sia. They truly dominated this match man. Their
PASSING RANGE and SKILLS is just so much better than ours. But I had
fun chasing their 2 defenders though. Saw the look on their faces on
seeing a mad dog charging at them. I should have scored once when again
dunno if its Ali or QL cross but the cross not cleared properly then
landed to me. I tried to volley it but MISSED completely. Haiz.
Anyway, I think MI really wanted to win this tournament. They played
their year 2 and some Year3 as well. Coach said after match we
shouldn't be too sad, coz they have players who play in Div 1 and 2 and
osme are National Players. But 7-0.....
Also, I liked some of the MI players, esp the vice-capt. Really friendly guiy and had a brief chat with him.
SHALL UPDATE ANOTHER TIME. TOO MUCH TO SAY.

Haiz.......I got put effort in studying...but if only i had time to study any of the TYS, esp for econs.....
Very weird. Seems in MJ so many ppl are getting 3Fs and worse. Also,
getting a C in any subject seems like a great achievement. My friend
was shocked when my teache rpersonally gave him his maths paper and
said it was an achievement to pass! Sian...I got AO only...and was
careless as usual...but I realised even if I added in careless marks
still would have gotten C only.
Bio was a bit weird. I got back my MCQ which was wd Iexpected. 24/30.
Then Section B, 25/50, expected too. I was just hoping...gimme 11 marks
for essay( which I expected better )...but as my friends' papers
streamed down the row and I saw marks like from 1-9/20, with no one
getting even 10/20 eventually...dang! I got 8/20. My B flew away. And I
was careless for 2 marks. If only...then have B. Well. Weird thing is
that dunno why though I got a C only, but I was 21st in standard. Means
paper is too difficult or MJ bio students in general are too lazy
and/or not smart enough. I think is due to laziness. BAD BAD BAD la. C
only. Chem I think 70% lidat fail chem outta 600+ ppl but I still feel
disappointed lah.....I knew I could have gotten E if I had bothered to
change the phrasing of one particular sentence that cost me 2 marks to
E. I decided against changing it coz I wanted to do other qns and coz
nothing was grammatically wrong. But turns out key terms rule here in
MJ. "inter-electronic repulsion", not " repelled inter-electronically"
like I wrote. Of coz I knew and know it's inter-electronic repulsion
lah but means the same. wad.

| Long time since I blogged. Everything seems distant. Remember I tihnk
on some public holiday on monday we went to watch initial D, organised
by Timothy. Lol. Thought he was the only one who enjoyed it though coz
he noes everything abt Ini D. I saw him smiling at little scenes in the
show when the rest looked normal. LOL.
Shirley Lim is rude man( turns out she watched IniD too but was alone).
Jasper and I were coming back from the toilet towards our little group
of friends. Then, suddenly we spotted Ms Lim and Jasper told me so I
decided to just say hi.As we walked past, I said, " Hi Mss Lim." Then
she turned to the side, saw us and just continued walking on. After
like 3 seconds she suddenly made a very loud GRUNTING noise( but not
high-pitch like Sharapova tat type). So rude lor. Just being friendly
and she has to be like that. U wun really understand what went on
unless you were there.
In the end one big group went to eat dinner. Got me, jaspeer duh,
Kevin, Sarah, Timo, Jasper, the black, Angeline, Audrey, Wan Fung,
forgot la. Then good thing that fake Sarah nv come join us. I think
none of us liked the look of that girl lah. Just joined us without
telling us and wore almost no clothes. Sum miniskirt and some
i-forgot-what (isit called "tube") looking thing. We speculated she
wear till like that maybe came from beach and alas, it was true.
Went home and bia hw.

| Haven't blogged in eons.
Just no time and no mood. Anyway I'm sick. Pray that I can recover before competition next week.
Today on MRT home sa Mr Naresh on the MRT. Think he stay simei. He sat
quite close to me. BESIDE ME. too bad i no econs notes with me...wanaa
see his reaction.
Yesterday went magic wok. Reyneth complained to me about worms
appearingin his veggie yesterday, so today I told the waitress with a
tinge of subtle class to ascertain there weren't worms this time. No.
actually i said it low-classly. " Umm..no WORMS right?" Haha.
Well, exams were some OK, some weren't.
GP: OK
CHINESE: Should pass due to listening compre overall. But the written
was so tough! Compo should do well coz i memorised it right from a
model v gd essay and turns out I was praying that the exam qn would be
similar to that, and i turned, Oh yeah, it was similar all right! only
needed a bit of modification here and there.
ECONS: Not bad....i could do the essay qns n DRQ except i didnt finish
abt 2 marks of the 6 mark qn and i didnt noe how to do the 4 mark qn.
BUT MCQS I DIDNT OR WASNT SURE OF 15 QNS! IF only i had went to
practice MCQ! *#^$*$(%
CHEMISTRY: QUITE BAD! MCQ got 12 dunno. section B got some dunno too
and got 5 marks i no time to liquid away my answer....i reliased after
writing until no space that actually my ans is wrong...so need time to
let liquid dry but no use. Essay qns last qn only did a few
marks...never do the give away draw graph qn.
MATH: BAD BAD BAD. Got 27 marks nv do n unsure.
80-27=53....and sure got some carelss n wrong ans.....hope can at least
get 42 lidat/80
BIOLOGY: Quite OK. MCQ was godd and essay too. Structured wasnt v
smooth-sailing ( since ssec sch its always been my weakest part that
pull down my marks)
Due to mugging for the last 1 week plus before the exam n during
the exam period, i fell sick with fever sore throat and had no time to
recover coz i slept at 2+ everynight.
My ambition for PROMO exam: FINISH STUDYING + TEN YR SERIES on important topics.
Now for other things. Got the FB jersey today. Quite nice. But the red
n black one in front too plain...really got nth there...told them to go
put number those ppl dunwant...now they regret n yeah, we must all go
back to shop to remake.
Been scoring regularly since training resumed. Oh n timothy came on
Thursday. Hes quite OK, espcecially his determination is one of the
best when trying to win back. Actually I think in terms of
determination and persistence to dispossess opponents, he's better at
it than any MJ floorballer ( specifically defenders) we have. His
determination seems to lend him speed and stamina.
After training I decided to play a while dunno y coz i tot play can
make me cough out my phlegm stuck inside...which I did....coughed like
anything...cant play well during the games we had over last few days. I
feel a bit bad. Coz I already scored 2 goals and was going for my
hat-trick but Timo wanted me to be goalie coz we anyhow play one so he
could have a chance to play outfield. I told him to wait till my third
goal arrived. But too bad it arrived longer than the first two...so he
was stuck as a GK n kenna some goals conceded. But duh we dun blame
him. Its a totally non-serious game after training slack those type.
When he conceded he was like getting frustrated I saw hsi that
"look".
Actualyl he asnt too bad as GK got save some point-blank nice shots!
But quite funny ask me play GK. Maybe he dunno I totally have no
aptitude as a GK. I can only play outfield, more speciafically to
attack and irritate defenders.
Oh yah next week got tournament. Those not selected dun be too sad.
I know we will lose RJ. But MI maybe we can if they dun send their
crazy year 3s n their super skill turban sing guy who should be
studying now.
Hate to miss lessons for 3 days coz of tournament. Must catch up like
siao!!!!!!! HAIZ.....I hope this will not affect me at tests and exams
man..................
